The Lithuanian National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) was established in 1996.

Our main goal is to promote cooperation and mutual support of Lithuanian museologists, to develop their professional relations with the International Council of Museums, its International and National Committees and other organizations related to museums and museum professions.

On November 6th 2020 took place the General Meeting of the Lithuanian National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). The Chairman of ICOM Lietuva and the Board of ICOM Lietuva were elected for the term of office 2020-2023.
